Family Medicine Residency

Our residents experience a broad range of ambulatory training, from newborn to geriatric medicine, with pediatric, adult, obstetric and women’s health procedures.

As an unopposed residency program, our residents have challenging hospital coverage experiences which expand their clinical knowledge and judgement. Our hands-on training is reinforced with full backup by in-house senior residents and available attending physicians 24/7.

The St. Elizabeth Advantage

St. Elizabeth Healthcare operates six facilities throughout Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana — Covington, Edgewood, Florence, Ft. Thomas, Grant and Dearborn Counties — as well as 200+ St. Elizabeth Physicians specialty and primary care offices located throughout Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. Our Family Medicine Residents are part of an unopposed 10-10-10 program. Our Edgewood campus is the main inpatient training facility with more than 500 beds, including MICU, SICU CICU. In addition, our Edgewood facility is home to our Family Birth Place and Level III NICU, staffed by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Neonatologists.

St. Elizabeth is located only a few miles south of downtown Cincinnati, in Northern Kentucky. Our Family Practice Center hosts the residency’s ambulatory practice and is located on the hospital’s Edgewood campus.
