Facility Updates

Access to St. Elizabeth Grant

St. Elizabeth Healthcare has learned that there will be construction work taking place near St. Elizabeth Grant. Beginning next week, on either Monday, May 20 or Tuesday, May 21, the first phase will begin with Kimberly Drive being closed for at least seven days.

There will be little impact on the first day for hospital parking or access. However, as the contractor moves through the process of tearing out and replacing the roadway, the entrances to the hospital, St. Elizabeth Physicians, and St. Elizabeth Physical Therapy from Kimberly Drive will be closed. The construction crew will do what they can to make this process as easy as possible and keep at least two entrances open at all times.

Ambulance and hospital patients will be directed to use Mercedes Drive to a new access road or the driveway between the hospital and the Health Department. Electronic message boards will be present to help direct traffic.

We appreciate your continued cooperation and support as these improvements are made to the surrounding roadway at the Grant campus.
