Chris Carle currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for St. Elizabeth Florence and leads the Customer Satisfaction Department for the St. Elizabeth Healthcare system. He previously held the role of Administrator for St. Elizabeth Grant and Vice President of Physician Services. He has 32 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Mr. Carle obtained a master of science in health care administration & planning in 1986 and a bachelor of arts in economics in 1984, both from the University of Cincinnati. He has served in a multitude of capacities, including Dietary Aide, Orderly, Unit Coordinator, Business Manager and Staff Assistant at Bethesda North Hospitals in Montgomery, Ohio.
Mr. Carle joined St. Elizabeth Healthcare in 1988 and entered into his current role in 2008. He oversees the operations of the Florence facility with particular emphasis on quality, patient satisfaction and facility improvement to better serve the community. He has been instrumental in the development of the new Outpatient Pavilion, Spine Center and the consolidation of the Vascular Institute to the Florence campus.
Mr. Carle has been instrumental in the development of St. Elizabeth Grant. He also played an important role in the merger of the former St. Luke Hospitals and St. Elizabeth Medical Center to create St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
He is a board member of the Kentucky Hospital Association, Greater Cincinnati Health Council, Northern Kentucky University Foundation and the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home.
